Basic Rules and Procedures
1. Appearance (684)
While on job sites, driving the company van, meeting customers and etc. technician representing NationalPlumbing.com company, as a representative of the company, technician should be in good appearance.
Good appearance will be combined from the following:
- Clothing
- "Clean cut"
2. Clothing - Wear company work shirt, shirt to be clean or reasonably clean. Wear coverall while working in more "dirty" jobs. Wear work pants or jeans and work shoes (with steel toe when on construction site) or hiking shoes.
Don't wear the following:
- Snickers shoes
- Sweatpants
- Sandals
- Dirty clothing
3. Clean cut - Very important to show up to work shaved and organized, customer will judge your work before you start the job by your appearance.
Please remove any items that may endanger your safety during the work (chains, rings, ties and etc.).
4. Behavior - You can not be Too Nice or Too Polite, greeting the customer when coming and leaving is important, respect the customer privacy.
5. Language on all job sites must kept free of any improper words, and any offensive words that may make the customer or fellow technician uncomfortable (Even swearing to yourself on the job site, may be taken the wrong way by the customer).
6. Late – You MUST call the office if you have any slightest idea you will not be on time for the job, or if you are getting delayed in traffic or whatever cause. If it is before or after office hours you must leave a message on the voicemail system.
7. Oncall – You are required to be oncall once every six weeks and if you cannot make it, it is up to you to find your own replacement and then advise the office.
8. Receipts - You must input your receipts to the technician online system. Please see the online training to see how this is done. You MUST keep all copies of the receipts with you and hand the original copies in to the office as soon as you get a chance. |
